"I used to have major fear of dental work. I recently needed two extractions of teeth that were crowded and out of place. Both were deemed to be useless and before I got clear correct, Dr. Hsu recommended extraction of the two useless teeth. These teeth were in such spots that made it very difficult to grab and extract. I was confident it couldn't be done without oral surgery. Dr. Hsu knew he could do it, numbed me so gently and began the extraction. It took him so much work, shifting positions and tools but he was always so professional and patient. He never lost confidence and successfully extracted both teeth. On my second teeth I felt sharp pain and he gave me an additional shot to numb the area and that helped me significantly. Dr. Hsu is an absolute professional and knows his craft very well. I'm very pleased with his service and can recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Hsu for easing my fear of dentistry!!"
Dr. Eric C Hsu, DDS
Dr. Eric Hsu completed his undergraduate studies at University of California, San Diego where he went on various medical trips in South America and Asia which inspired him to become a dentist. He went on to attend dental school at University of California, San Francisco. After dental school, he completed a 1 year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at Louisiana State University, Shreveport where he became skilled in wisdom tooth extractions and dental implant placement. Dr. Hsu continues to expand his dental skills attending study groups and continuing education courses both internationally and nationally.
Dr. Hsu is a Fellow of International Implantology, and is an active member with the Sacramento Dental Society, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He is also a mentor to pre-dental students and gives talks to pre-dental societies at various colleges around the nation.
